For months now, in the villages of southeast Guinea, cases of Ebola have gone undiagnosed. In March of this year, the World Health Organization finally got the news. By this point Ebola had claimed the lives of 29 people in the area.
The organization has released multiple statements through the past few days about the outbreak and how it is evolving. The current number of dead is 83, with 127 confirmed cases.
